Sorry to hear that was your friend that went down. Hope he is ok and the bike didn't take too much of a hit. I shot the aftermath but from turn 11. Even the 500mm dosn't do you much good from there. :)
Yeah, they are like crack dealers.... first time is free and you are hooked. :) You need to find some time so we can get some saddle time my friend. :beerchug:
Sweet! I don't know how I missed the S1000RR. I am wanting one pretty bad and usually don't. Maybe we can catch up next time. I...
Hey everyone! Hope you are all doing well. I have been crazy busy but got a chance to take the bike out to a NCBIKE event at Garysburg, NC. They do a "try the track" session during lunch with paced laps to lure enthusiasts into the trackday web. :) Anyway, I thought I would share a couple...
All valid points and well taken. I am not saying that I didn't get small scratches on the lower fairing when I parking lot tested them, because I did. I can live with those. The scratches on the intire left side of the previous drop were a different story. They way I ride, if the bike goes...

Haha, shortly before my first divorce is when I liquidated all of my previous arms. I thought "If that Biotch is gonna shoot me, she is going to have to get her own gun. She isn't shooting me with mine!"
My current wife has been shooting skeet with me lately and is taking a handgun class...
Thanks. That's cool. I don't even remember what I had for lunch today. I was thinking under the tank was where I was going to look first. I appreciate the input!
Thanks Stevo! I was thinking of temporarily mounting the guage in an extra (already damaged) right side fairing filler (between the tank and the tupperware) just so I can see what it's doing when I get started. If you don't mind, could I ask you where you mounted the unit and what switchable...
Wow, sorry to hear. I hope you are both back 100% soon. Maybe when it gets nice I can talk Earlybird, CrazyArch, and my buddy in NoVa with a VMax (who has been ragging me about doing the parkway) into a weekend trip or something.
Thanks pal! :beerchug: I will try to keep up with this thread so I can turn it into a How To... if I don't blow something up.
We are close enough we need to ride sometime.
