The mechanic cut the windshield but I don't know if he used a template or not. I haven't had a chance to speak with him since I picked up the bike.

Sure. We had an ice storm here a few days ago and there is no electricity. When the power comes back normally I will put up the link to the instructions from either ABM or Spiegler, I forget. I can take any measurements you want as well if you let me know what you want.

If you can install the helibars yourself I would give it a try. You'll only get an inch more upright position, however. That's why I went with the ABM Superbike Handlebar Kit. It lets me sit up at least 4 more inches, maybe more, but is very expensive.

I want to have a little room at the end of each handlebar to attach the bar end mirrors.

I didn't have time to talk to the service guy; I have to go back for an in-depth, for-publicaion interview. However, it looks like they replaced the stock bar ends, which fit perfectly. I only rode an hour but didn't notice vibration. I might go with some heavier ones, especially if they'll give...

Thanks, I've got my eye on the bar end mirrors which contain no glass. They polish up the metal and that's the mirror. Brilliant!
