I have noticed in the past that when I dynoed a bike that I babied during the "break-in" period the HP/TQ numbers were low, but the bikes I rode hard from mile number 1 have always posted better numbers. I'm sure that doesn't mean anything since different bikes, different days, different temps...

I like 16/42, but then again mine is mostly stock.

Well I got a good deal on a Akrapovic EVO full Ti system. I'm just not really into the finish look of Titanium. For the deal I'm getting, I'm not going to let it bother me, I just thought I would see if it could be buffed out to a mirror finish.

I'm thinking of going with a full Ti system, but I'm not big on the golden/purple look it seems to give off. Can the can be sanded and polished to a MIRROR finish?

I should have went. My son asked me as soon as he got off the bus, but I just wasn't feeling up to it.

THANKS GUYS!!!! I love them. I was VERY happy to see that they where actually lighter than stock. I had a 99' R1 and when I put a set on it I was SOOO mad because they were actually haevier by 5 lbs. and NO cushdrive. The only PITA is having to polish them. But, since my bike spends more time...

I just put a set of RC Component wheels on mine. They were 4lbs. lighter than stock (total). Not a huge weight savings but every little bit counts and not to mention they look incredible. I haven't had the chance to ride it rain due to the rain, but I probably won't be able to feel a difference...
