another thing it could be is the regulator / rectifier had the same problem on my old ZX-9 you should be able to find a schematic on it and test it with an Ohm meter

Not really a USA thing well not for me anyway, when you get down to it HD is not 100% american anyway, but i do have to say the Road King i had was a verry nice ride and i never had any mechanical problems with it. I was always a sport bike guy but decided i wanted to try something different and...

When i raced WERA you either A. had to remove the kick stand or B. have it safty wiered in the up possition for safty reasons

If it was sitting for a long period of time i would check the electrical connections on the starter relay and the grounds take them off and clean them just to be sure it's not corrosion on a contact causing the issue.

Speaking of maintaining, just finished her 25k service, and she is running like a top, as for her new stuff i broke down and ordered her new RaceTech internals. mmmmmm cant wait.

Got a girl freind Heidi just dosent ***** and is cheaper to maintain :whistle:

Its been going good, getting ready to do alont of Maint. to Heidi today and the bigger news i have a new little one on the way just found out she is 8 weeks along. still havent told my Ex or my kids yet so we will see how all that gose soon lol. but i am excited about it im hoping for a boy but...

So Heidi has been good to me and i want to get something for her just not sure what i have been looking around the internet and just cant make up my mind. She is geting ready to have alot of service done Oil, Fork Oil, Valves, Chain, Sprokets, Coolant flush, clutch oil replacement and new tiers...
