Another tire thread: But only between 2 tires!

I've run the PP's and the 2CT"s and the Storms beat them both. But then along came the Road 2's and I'm on my 2nd set of those... IMO they are the best on the mkt now. Nick

    Chainguard Threads

Not sure what their called, but the threads in the swingarm for the chainguard are actually inserts. One of mine is spinning in the swingarm making removal of the bolt a big pain in the a**. Has anyone figured out how to secure these inserts? Thanks, Nick

    Coolant Gremlins

I wasn't aware that synthetic oil wouldn't "milkshake" when water was added... the old "dino" oil sure would wouldn't it. I can remember pulling the dip stick on my 67 goat and it looking like I had used it as a paint stirrer! I run Amsoil with an OEM Suzuki filter in the Busa. Thanks for...

    Coolant Gremlins

I got a little wordy in my description... sorry about that. I do tap up to the minimum mark on the bottle after running through a couple of heat cycles and letting the bike sit overnight. It's not overfilled, it's just pushing coolant into the bottle for some reason. probably going to be due to...

    Coolant Gremlins

I'm still chasing my coolant mystery. I have 25K miles on the clock and ride hard every weekend. Our rides are a mixture of tight twisties in 2nd and 3rd gear at 7-9k rpm. Then we hit the extremely fast sweepers about 20 miles of 4th and 5th up to the stutter often. I'm a maintenance conscious...

Gestapo Tactics, Read Quick! (Update, Resolved!)

I'm confused, I can't see this thread on the forum and "cap" says he censored it, but I keep getting notices that people are replying. What's up? I know what happened with McCoy and myself and have the emails for anyone that cares to review... personally, after being censored for sharing my...

Gestapo Tactics, Read Quick! (Update, Resolved!)

I I didn't say " Big" bucks... I said bucks. What I mena is they are contributing monetarily to this site, and since my post was innocently intended to warn other busa owners of my experience, I could only determine I was out "spent" regarding my merchant review being censored. Also, the vendor...

Gestapo Tactics, Read Quick! (Update, Resolved!)

Actually, I do know. I'm responsible for the data in his system. Ever try to pay online with incorrect email and phone? His site REQUIRES customers to establish an account including login and password info. Completely off the topic but I do find it a little interesting that you can't get...

Gestapo Tactics, Read Quick! (Update, Resolved!)

So they have "many" positive reviews and mine was negative and you determine my to be without merit? Why don't you take your own advice and deal with it and let the rest of the riders and purchasers form their own opinions. You need to know that Mike McCoy started out telling me the reason I...

Gestapo Tactics, Read Quick! (Update, Resolved!)

Well, I just found out why my thread regarding tobefast.com taking 9 days to ship following my payment was deleted from this forum. I looked under "sponsors" and there they are, big as life. So the moral to this story is: If you're a vendor and you don't want fellow Busa riders posting their...

    Need 07 Radiator

No leaks. I bet I'm losing more than 20% of my cooling capabilities by these blocked fins. Thanks, Nick

    Need 07 Radiator

So many of my radiator fins are bent closed I hate to think how long it will take to repair. I may find out if I can't find a good used one. I'm ordering a Cox racing Group protective screen in the morning to take care of the next rad. Anyone got a spare? Nick

    Rear Brakes

I'm happy with EBC "hh" pads front and rear. I use both every time with moderation on the rear. It shouldn't be easy to lock-up but it does slow the swing arm movement, which is a life saver when you enter too hot. You need to learn to use the rear brake. Nick
