pretty wicked looking clamp there. Looks like you have some play with the bars. Can you change the angle.
I used a couple that looked ok then installed new levers and they hit. Dropped the bike when the brake lever hit once. Installed a roarin toyz brand. it has enough angle in the bars...
I have one of each. Custom Harley and 09 busa......almost never ride the harley. First thing, harley riders tend to bar hop and drink alot, I dont. Second, they dont wear helmets or gear, unless you call a loose leather vest gear. I am the freak when I show up in my icon jacket and full face...
doug, I bought and installed an exotic cycles top bar holder. Lowered front end 1". Later bought ASV/Pazzo levers that now hit the fairing due to the "pitch" of the bar holders. That clamp pitches them out and maybe forward from the stock.
do you honestly know if your bracket changes from...
has anyone lowered the busa, say one inch, then used the soupy's or Schnitz bushings and put back on the OEM top bracket/handle bar holder? And then tried to use Pazzo or ASV levers.
Thanks
Robert
What would anyone recommend to stop the bars about 1/2 inch sooner. Is there something that one could attach to the existing stop that would stick. Weld, drill a hole and put a bolt with washer?? I am trying to deal with brake lever hitting fairing and if bar stopped about 1/4-1/3 inch sooner...
