A true pioneer in the development of jet cars... and fearless to a fault in his quest for the record... I forget the speed he was going when he did a U turn on the Salt Flats on the side of his car. Here it is on video. This to me is the coolest looking jet car ever to run on the salt. They must have hired somebody to design the paint and graphics. Had the wind not blown that morning he may well have surpassed the speed of sound and set the bar so high it would have taken a while for somebody to beat it.
