I live out here in Kalifornia and the only people that like her are the citizens of the city of San Francisco. I cannot figure out why they like her. Oh, maybe it's cause she promises anything they ask for. How quickly they forget that she hasn't delivered yet.

I've been contemplating starting a recall vote on her. I don't think I have the time available to do it properly though. Maybe someone will start one soon.
 
She called tearing apart a family un-American. The fact that said family is living somewhere illegally doesn't change their love and dependance on each other. I admit she does say questionable things though :).

What part of "illegal" don't you understand? Family turmoil has nothing to do with breaking the law.

Settle down , Big Boy. I understand the word perfectly. Having a parent taken away from a house is extremely traumatic to a kid, no matter what language they speak.

I agree.

I will not get into the "cost" of the illegals and the burden it creates to the tax payers. A case in point is California. It's breaking the backs of the citizens who live there and the taxes they pay.

To worry about the "family" of illegals is redundant. Pelosi is looking for voter base and these are the people who will do it.

To give Medical, housing, food and other State assistance for illegals rather than tax breaks, jobs, and aid to responsible citizens who pay taxes and work every day is deplorable. To call treatment of illegals un-american is even more so.

Vote her azz out!

It's obviously very true that illegal immigrants pose a serious problem, but the word family in your post desn't need quotation marks. They are families that depend on one another just like anyone else. This is part of the serious problem; the fact that questionable decisions by the father or mother put the kids at risk. I've heard Pelosi speak on this, and although she does have very questionable stances at times, on this issue, concerning the way raids are handled in family situations, I think she has a point. I realize that you and most won't agree with me, but here's my right to an opinion being used yet once again :).
 
Call me mean and cruel but, Since the parent(s) arent legal shouldnt the children be illegal also... In my opinion children should be the same nationality as the parents.


Then again if the parents really cared about the children then they would be breaking the law like they are in the first place..

So you must ask your self this... who is worse the people breaking up the families of the illegals or the illegals who have the kids so they can stay..
 
Our constitution states that if you are born in this country, you are a citizen of this country.

I do believe it needs to be amended to say,
"If you are born in this country by a mother who is legally residing in the country"

That would solve the issue of anchor babies

Interesting question, but the answer doesn't solve the problem as two wrongs don't add up to squat.
 
I just feel bad for the kids. Their parents were wrong and the children are the ones paying the ultimate price. They loose their parents, their homes, friends etc.... all because their parents couldn't follow a few simple rules. I sure hope that if the gov keeps shipping the illegal immigrants back to their home land that special consideration is given for the children. Maybe adoption or special foster care for them. They are U.S. citizens. If these parents truley love their children they would not have a problem with them staying here in the states in a safe home and given a chance to have something better. Maybe after a specified time, the parents can come back to the states, the correct way and be reunited with their children. I don't know. These are just thoughts and hopefully the children separated from their parents will be cared for.
