stock chain length question

It is always recommended that if you are changing your sprockets that you should change your chain as well.
To answer the question, would normally be no, but if your current chain is old, worn and stretched, it might just fit. The rear tire would be in closer.
 
On and Gen II bike yes. On a Gen I bike no. 114 vs 112 stock chain length is the difference.

If it fits because the chain is old you need to check the service length. 12.57" over a 20 pin count.
