Touching up polished swingarm

I have a polished swingarm and it has some surface scratches on it that you can't feel just see. Can I just start wet sanding with 2000 grit to get those areas out?

Go to Autozone and pick up some mothers Billet polish it's like 15 bucks for a little bit but it works great. Rub it in until black color shows on rags wipe off instant BLING lol

Semichrome from Germany is the Chit!!! Comes in a burgandy and yellow box.

I have the mothers billet. The shine is good but that stuff doesn't take out the scratches though.
