concrete, dirt and salt.

**(The Finnish speeds were run on a track
with a maximum racing length of
about 1.0 mile, but some racers used
less that that length to achieve their results.)

It is apparent from the track listings and dates that
motorcycle LSR (Land Speed
Racing) is now a true international sport.

There is some question about whether the Fininsh results
are On-board data, GPS or time traps.

A parallel question is whether this is from a "sanctioned event"

It certainly seems to be an "organaized event,"

**(The Finnish speed were run on a track with a maximum racing length of
about mile, but some racers used less that that length to achieve their results.)

It is apparent from the track listings and dates that motorcycle LSR (Land Speed
Racing) is now a true international sport. When will we see Japan, China,
Brasil and the return of Russia ?

If I could make one quick edit for Billy Shoemaker. His 269 at Mojave in 2011 was done in just 1.0 mile, not 1.5 miles. An even more amazing feat!

If it's not too much to ask, please add "TFM" as sponsor to Antti Pietilä's, Jari Määttä's and Teemu Tenhula's results. And if it's somehow possible, nice thing would also be to seen that we are driving a NOS bike rather than turbo.
