OK, so it's been a few weeks since I leaked the information that Warchild and I are planning the
Inaugural
Busa Stampede
to be held in Reno, NV.
We are launching a website specific to this event.
We have been to a number of sites searching for the best host hotel.
We have identified a handful of volunteers for a variety of positions.
We have reviewed a number of possible weekends to hold it and have identified the following.

July 24-26, 2009.
Registration will be held in a dedicated registration hall on Friday, 24 July. The balance of weekend has events and rides planned. Participants are invited to enjoy some or all of the offerings.
Day-Rides will be held, as is customary, for those of a variety of skill levels. Volunteers will be previewing the roads the day before the rides are scheduled, and they will be invited to lead these rides. Familiarity. Maps and directions will be readily available to everyone.
All this information will be available 24/7 on the website. You will be able to pre-register on the site, and as well, to order commemorative Stampede gear.
Another announcement will be made when the website is up and running. Contact information for the promoters and volunteers will also be easily accessible.
We sincerely hope you can join us for this historic event. War and I are going to great lengths to provide an atmosphere of fun, excitement, and relaxation in a setting which is conducive to such. Already having spent a great deal of time and energy to bring you this piece of Hayabusa History, we'd be honored if you'd join us.
