DME vs Evil Swing Arm

Mix of both, whoever can get it to you first.

There are plenty of fast fast guys out there on Evil arms

if money is not a problem DME is the best option. Just my opinion

I purchased an evil and had to return it twice because the bushing wouldn’t fit in the swing arm pivot. Brenda is super cool and said they don’t actually press the bearings in (I paid for them to press in new bearings). She said the pivot needs to be ground out because it’s squeezing the bearings. I’m not grinding on a brand new swingarm. My friend also bought one for his zx10 and the bearings they installed in the pivot wouldn’t spin at all.

DME is what I now have and would recommend.

if its the long look u want u can try extensions. easier to go back to stock if you get tired of the look.

wow! I’m on my second evil arm with 0 issues hell the second one went in so smoothly I took it back off to make sure I didn’t forget something.

That’s what she said lol.

I’d think the majority of stuff they make is fine and I just got one with a manufacturing defect. Not uncommon or the end of the world. But after they “fixed” the swingarm and sent it back to me- only one side was fixed. I sent it back and will never waste my time again.

Brenda was awesome and is great to work with.

dme aluminum looks better. The extruded aluminum swing arms match the frame better

The evil chromoly one makes the busa look like it skipped leg day.

Old thread and my DME arm has been sitting as long…

Evil vs DME is not even comparable in terms of quality. DME is quality and Evil is budget. Period. I’ve owned and installed both on my Gen 3 and an Evil on a friends zx10.

Installed the DME arm and am mocking up the tire hugger. I’m going to dial in my suspension but there isn’t much room with how low the Brock’s links have the rear. I’ll mess with it more tomorrow.

I suggest you call them.

My best friend just ordered one from them but he decided to call them…had a great conversation with them and they got him squared away with his order.

About six to seven weeks until it’s built and delivered.
