    Who Rode Today?

Bugs were out in force here too especially between orchards and vineyards. It (is) springtime. My helmet shield and the front of the bike were covered! You hit more the faster you go…After tomorrow’s ride it’s cleanup time for sure. I’ll take the Kawasaki Sunday. The Honda is on the lift...

    Who Rode Today?

Took the Busa out for a short 135 mile loop. Was a bit chilly and breezy but there was almost no traffic. I saw one bike, an 07 CBR1000 with under 5,000 miles. Looked great but small compared to the Busa. I thought it was a 600 at first glance. Rode over a couple favorite 8 mile straights...

My 999 was also an L twin. The thumping tractor like acceleration was sooooo different from an inline. I liked it. Very uncomfortable though after a couple hours due to the low grips and high pegs.

…”. But none of those forever pills, I've seen them destroy too many lives, seen too many go to the grave prematurely, too many that can't even walk across a carpark without stopping for a rest.” That is hard to believe that so many lives were destroyed (that you’ve seen) behind medically...

It’s been months since I went to the range

In a practiced draw and shoot I’ve found that clutching the center of my shirt with my weak hand has an excellent steadying effect on my aim.

    Weather Where You Are

Bordello? I’ve got a good story about one I visited in Mexico in 1970. Right out of an old B movie.
