I've been around motorcycles for about as long as I can remember. My parents were both avid riders when I was younger, though they tended to stick to the dirt more than the street. Learned how to ride when I was about 11 or 12, got my first street bike when I turned 18 and needed reliable transportation back and forth to work. Had a little Honda 250 Rebel for years and rode it everywhere. Finally graduated to a big bike in 2003 when I bought a new HD Sportster. I've since gotten a 2003 Wide Glide, and a 2008 Buell Ulysses.
As of 9/14/2012 I am the proud owner of a 2012 Limited Edition Hayabusa. I'd seen it at the Suzuki dealership here in town when I went in looking for gear. They'd always caught my eye because of their relative rarity, and distinctive styling, and one-of-a-kind performance. I was hooked from that moment and finally took the plunge. Whereas I've been a rider for years, and put well over 100,000 miles on the various bikes I've had, this is my first true Sport bike, and I couldn't be happier.
