First of all, what a trip. As some of you know, Lamb attended a ride in Arkansas in May-June to ride with some buddies through the Ozarks. What a trip, what a trip. However, some incidents occured...R.I.P. Wes Brown, that made Lamb a lil gun shy about riding with a group. Having not made a real post about that trip has brought about the need to post on this one.

Captain, thanks for the hospitality, what a terrific family you have. Lamb was humbled and impressed, it was a real pleasure to know them
LCB, thanks for allowing me a reason to ride out to one of the greatest riding areas in the world. Hopefully another one can be made next year.
Semi, dennis and trish, awesome to ride with you again and Lamb will probably show up at your door looking for dinner and a ride.
Macon 454, Omslaw, Princess, doniton 2, motochris, Uncle Steve and of course Michelle, what can Lamb say. Forgetting so many folks. Had great discussions about life and love and struggles, and conquests....damn this is the wrong forum but alas, this is the story in pics and words of the 2011 Busa Stampede.

Riding the Lassen Volcano. Pics do a better job telling the story than words

Lambs pics are so small...shoot...well, Lassen Volcano is top 10 most beautiful places ever visited by this man. The frozen lake made the 15 mph speed limit seem like freeway speeds

This area...northern california is just full of huge mountain passes and this year home to clean freshly paved roads. As one can tell, the snow drifts were 30 feet high in places

This area is just 3 hours from Reno. So glad this was ridden and seen. The 36 across the state towards the coast was the next destination. Riding in a small group has its advantages as a nap can be taken at will. Just kidding, if any knows LCB, this could be the perfect pic, We were stopped at a road closed for repair sign and Lisa decided to relax.

Having not gotten a pic of the sign that says curvy road next 140 miles, OOPS! The sign wasn't kidding. 3 hours of turns turns turns and turns, all never leaving the same road. We road through Humboldt county where we came across some BIG trees

Off to the 101 south and the 1 towards Fort Bragg, starting in Fortuna. What a road and what scenery. Another freshly paved stretch of road awaited us as we hightailed it down the coast. Stopping of course to ride the avenue of the Giants

Damn Captain. Lamb is gonna have to figure out how to resize photos. You are making Lamb seem small.

Off to Fort Bragg and highway 20 where no pics were taken because Lamb found himself in the front of a long wait road closed for repair. Almost 20 miles of no traffic in front of him. Man was that a ride, Hwy 20...2 thumbs up!!!!

Trouble did find Lamb though as we rode through Napa california. Somebody explain to Lamb how to maintain a chain. ouch on the pocketbook.

We did however, run across a local bike shop at closing time with the nicest owner who helped us wrench and get us travelers back on the road. Parriott Motors...AWESOME THANKS JERRY!

That pin is so bent....Man, Lamb is such a loser with the maintenance. Rust all the way through....ugghhh!

Completely ruined the sprocket and Spudley would come to the rescue later back at the Peppermill Casino

LCB and myself being the Nascar nuts we are had to stop by the local racetrack of course

Infineon Raceway in Sonoma. Road course and Wednesday night drags all summer long

We ran across another freshly paved road south of Middletown and mt. Cobb, The 29 throught the forest. This road was unbelievable as the road crew that layed the road must have just left before we rode through there. no pics cause we were grinning and ripping!!!

This next little bit of the story is pure San Francisco in the summer. Lisa wanted to ride the golden gate bridge having never spent time on the west coast. I have to ride the golden gate, I have to ride the golden gate, so away we went. Holy heck, why did we bother, as the fog was so thick and so dense we didnt even know we were on the bridge until we payed the toll of 6 dollars! Priceless. Thats a story Lisa can tell forever.

That San Fran fog is something else. It sticks to you and freezes your bones...and its the middle of August for gods sake!!

We did manage to get a pic of it later in the day from the embarcadero. Some prison or other too.
