For a great trip/tour setup, the Busa Stampede is simply awesome! The ride from where ever you are to Reno and then the full week of locally guided rides and a TRACK DAY and a banquet with fantastic sponsor prizes ! We went to the Stampede in 2009 and it was so fun that my wife traded her Ninja zx-14 in to get a 'Busa! This year we both rode our Busas to Reno, all over Nevada/California, at the Reno-Fernely Track (including track, dyno and drag racing WOW!) There is even a professional photographer on staff to capture the event! We put on over 3,000 miles (Tucson to Reno and back is about 1900 miles, the rest at the Stampede!) and the people were wonderful. All riding levels were respected, people helped with maintenence issues, no one got tickets, no one crashed, great venues for dining and get togethers during rides and after rides at the Peppermill Casino and local restaurants in Reno. The views were spectacular, the riding areas phenomenal, the organization superb! You could go on all the scheduled rides or go on some and do your own rides, or hang out at the spa/pool...no pressure! What a great group of people we met! If you are looking for a fun trip with Busas in common I recommend this one! There's even gear like t-shirts, hats for attendees! And, what was really cool, a seperate secured parking area for our Busas! We just happened to find out about this event last year by accident on this site ( we were looking for something out west, we were jealous of all the mid-west and east events on here and stumbled onto this one). There were people from Canada ( one from Nova Scotia! 3600 miles one way to get there!) the east, west...I even took the bags off this year once we arrived for the rides! To everyone who went it was wonderful to meet you all and we really hope to see you next year! And if you haven't gone yet...see you in 2012!!!! Just a smattering of pics from the trip to Reno, around the area, the hotel and banquet...they do no justice to the experience.
