Michigan Coast Tour

Greetings All - spent the weekend running a fantastic route along the Michigan Coast. Left Sault Ste Marie, MI Saturday morning and headed south to Mackinaw City. From there we hugged the coast on HWY 23 down to Bay City area. Stopped for the night in Midland and then headed across towards Traverse City, MI Sunday morning. Continued on up that side of the coast to Petoskey, MI where we turned off and stopped in Harbour Springs, MI. Ran through the "Tunnel of Trees" and back to Mackinaw City and Sault Ste Marie. Michigan is an absolutely beautiful state and very bike friendly. I had put some new shoes on the Busa the day before heading out (PR3's) which are amazing tires! What a difference from the stock BT's. I noted my mileage which varied between 45 and 48 MPG

Total mileage was just over 625 miles.

Just ran a loop up along hwy 58 (pictured rocks) this past weekend. Fantastic ride on the busa!

one thing i can say about michigan is the upper part of it is beautiful

Silver is really beautiful, I like strong heavy bikes and want to long ride tours.
