Mojave Pics From Sat. Morning

Froze on the way up,got lost on the way home(exact same place me and kromdom got lost coming home last time),fought a treacherous side wind the last 50 miles up and about the first 80 miles on the way back(268 miles round trip and feel like I've been beat up from the feet up,but had to get a few pics for you guys).Don't have the speeds to post with the bikes(I know all of these guys and the pics aren't in order,but I'm too tired to add names and sort everything out)but quite a few went 200+mph on their first runs.



Announcer said this car has gone over 360mph at Bonneville.

I do know Jim went 211 mph on his first pass...in 5th gear.

Just talked to my bro Adam,he went 201.4 mph on Sunday morning on his 14(just a pipe and Johnnycheese flashed his ECU),1st time ever at any LSR event.

Big Red with some upgrades for this year,1950 hp now.

Back in the late 80s, this car was clocked at 222mph with "only" an all aluminum 540ci Chevy making 800hp and no aero grill. I wonder what it would do now, flat out.

Pretty sure I heard the announcer say they were hoping for around 240 mph in the mile but never did hear the results from Sunday.
