I bought an oo Busa from a reputable dealer, first thing this bike is a beast of a machine. Ok back to my question it ran hot on me in 50 degree weather I was at a light saw the temp gauge going way up so I shut the bike off until the light turned green. It turned green and the bike would do nothing so I push it off to the side of the road after about a half hr I go back it starts right up go home put the battery charger on it and have not had this problem since.I have done everything to try and duplicate the situation even sat in traffic on purpose to see if it would do it again. Has anyone had this happen and what was the result of the problem.

Crank it up let it idle on kickstand and check to see if fan comes on when temp gets up there from idling to long.If it doesn't come on pull left fairing and check fuse first and then check fan switch connection.

It is possible your dealer put in a new radiator or new coolant. My brand NEW 05 did it one time straight out of the scammership and never did it again. I've been in bumper to bumper and it just goes down to little bit below the half mark and stays there.

Also if it's high milege , good synthetic oil helps out with cooling me experienced. I use Mx4t. Used to think suzuki oem oil was the shiznit but not anymore.
