'04 Black/Purple

Well,

I've done it!! Sold the car so now it's time to get a Busa. I'm looking at an '04 Black/Purple but I can't remember if the purple is acutally **painted** on the plastic or if it's a decal. I called and asked the dealer and he said he thought it was a decal and could be removed but he wasn't sure.

Is it possible to remove the purple to have an all black busa ??

No they are not decals. If you pull the panels on any two tone busa you'll see the overspray of both colors on the rear of the panels.
It has a ridge because one color is a primary coat followed by the second color on top of that.

You could always get the awesome looking blue/silver

There's also the pretty in pink version but it costs more!
