05 Starter problem

I've had my busa for about a month now....1000 miles on it...for the last couple of weeks the starter will randomly mess up. Whats happening is when i start the bike, the starter will keep spinning for a couple secs after the bike starts...my guess is if its like a car the bendix (sp?) isn't releasing right away after the bike is started. Any idea whats going on with the thing? the dealership wants me to bring it in, but its only done it probably a dozen times in the last 2 weeks so its kinda hard to get it to do it in front of somebody....

i also have an 05 with about 1500 miles about a week ago it started doing the exact same thing i thought i was holding the start button down too long cause it starts right away it has only done it 5 or 6 times really dont want to leave it at dealer yet if you find out what it is let me know l will do the same thanks

took mine to dealer yesterday took about 20 tries but it did make the noise for the tech he said it wasnt anything to worry about unless it happens more often or hangs up longer it is under warrenty so i will see what happens

Clutch starter maybe??
