Hey guys. Okay heres the problem I bought a 06 Busa a couple months ago. It was wrecked but the only thing that I thought was damaged was the fairings. Boy was I wrong. The First thing that went wrong when It wouldn't start is that it didn't have the Headlight Relay. $60 bucks later that was fixed then after it still wouldn't start I realized that the clutch safety switch was not being pressed by the Clutch Lever. That fixed it it started right up. It sit for awhile while I was in a money crunch. When I started working on it again it would try to start but it never would catch. Found out that it was angle sensor which tells the computer whether the bike is turned over. Fixed that and it started right up. But it would never stay on unless you keep on the throttle. We had just drained the tank of bad gas so I thought maybe it was because some of the bad gas was still in the line. I ran it for a couple of minutes just to unload it off my truck. Then all of a sudden it quit and wouldn't start back again.
The symptoms:
The oil light is on in the gauges with check written below it in the display.

I check the engine to see if it had any oil that I could see. I about had a heart attack I couldn't see any. But it had been sitting in my buddies shop and hadn't leak a drop of oil. So i drain the oil and it look like there was the 3.8 liters of oil it was supposed to have but I can't be sure. I still haven't put any oil back in (I waiting for the oil filter. Cause it needed changing anyway). I hope this will fix it but just in case has anyone have a clue what else it could be?

CHEK comes on anytime you have an active interlock, make sure the killswitch is in operate, kickstand is up, put the bike in neutral, pull the clutch in and see if it fires, or rather if the check annotation goes away.

I would keep an eye on it as I checked each. You'll hear the fuel pump spin up when you get it.

You need to check the oil with the bike straight up and down and level. It doesn't take much of an angle to make it look like its empty.

(busasforlife @ Aug. 16 2007,17:23) Yeah the neutral light comes on. And by the way I have started the bike with the kickstand down. Is it not supposed to.
