06 busa question and thoughts first and second gear issue

Okay guys I know a guy selling a 06 busa with 18k miles for 3k.. the only issue is it pops out first & second gear. My question is about how much is it to have a shop correct this issue. I never fixed a motor or tranny ive done little misc stuff forks etc not sure if i can tackle it on my own. Also is 3k to much for the bike with this issue. I see i can pick them up in my area from 4500-6000 k all day long model 02-05

you will have about same money for it as a buy now ride now one..

Depending on other mods buy it. The tranny work will run you $1000-$1500 and you'll have addressed one of the weaknesses of the bike. Can't say for sure without seeing the bike, but I would pull the trigger.
