06 hayabusa ...... mirrors

Just had the bike painted, oh btw, sorry for being gone so long...... i need some chrome mirrors to replace the oem... kinda gaudy.. any suggestions? i went online and found some on amazon, but they say not dot approved.... really dont know why... Amazon.com: Chrome Suzuki GSXR 600 750 1000 Hayabusa MIRRORS: Automotive i see they are on a busa in the pic but it also says measure to make sure it will fit... kinda at a stand still.... trying to go cheap and have a nice look, paint has hurt my pocketbook. thank you all so much for any help you can give

Hi. No you can still get them. Just look on the internet. I have them molded into my upper, they are my turn signals and my 250 MPH no fold mirrors.

Just as useful at 50 or 250. You must have to meet some kind of requirement to use those right?

No no rules for me to use them, It is just to keep the bike street illegal as I will drive it on the street. In LSR I am in the class with bikes like Bill Wearner Guy Caputo and other bikes like them. I would like to start a new class for modified street bikes.
