i have read many exhaust mod posts but i have a question. if i remove the trim at the rear of the can,flush cut the 1-1/2'' o.d exit pipe,then use a hole saw that is slighty larger, will the entire 10-5/8" length of pipe slide out.thanks.

Look at the begining of the thread is a can mod listed I done with my 04 ,but I think you can do the same on yours,there is an easier way to take the inside out once you grind the top of the aluminun put a screw driver in between the two all the way around and then push the inside out , also a little WD40 helps .

tin, thanks for reply. i am not trying to remove all the guts,just the small inner pipe that runs from from approx. middle of can to the exit.
