hello all,i have a 07 hayabusa that i have done the small air box mod, pair system removed, hindle 4-2-1 exhaust and a power commander.i am going to have this combo dyno tuned and was wondering if there are any low buck mods that are worth anything on the dyno.i am thinking possibly changing air box stacks dont know if i should go all shorts or longs, and possibly a stock intake camshaft on the exhaust side.
anyone know a tuner/dyno in the syracuse new york area?one of my buddies has done dyno tuning on his dragbike with paul gast before and that is the direction i am thinking of going for tuning.do i have any other options in my area?
this bike is mostly street driven maybe drag raced 3-4 times a year.

As far as the stacks go...4 shorts = more low end/less top end, 4 long = more top end/less low end.

If you're drag racing, get a bigger rear sprocket and an R1 throttle tube, won't mean anything on the dyno, but should def help get your bike moving.
I only know of dyno places in Central Jersey if you wanna take the trip.

how much do the long/short stacks move the powerband up and down?yes i think i will be adding 2 or 3 teeth to the rear sprocket, really dont think i need to go 190mph,,,,or do i,hmmm. my bike is solid burgundy no 2tone,i believe they call it sonoma red,,yes i know the black ones are faster,LOL
by bud called gast today and they dont do street bikes only dragbikes.patric at gast's reccomended a place called sick choppers in the rochester new york area,i guess they have a good program there.
anyone have any dyno numbers on a camshaft swap?any used aftermarket pieces out there?

Like stated do the r1 throttle mod and chain and sprockets. See how you like that. You'll most likely get a few ponies from a custom tuned if you don't already have one. Also good time to get a speedoheala(factory speedos are already off). If set on buying some stacks, I hear you can just buy two factory OEM ones, short or long depending on what you want to save the $$.

Someone lied to you....the 07 Candy Sonoma Red is THE fastest color. Ask me how I know.

thanks for the replys guys, couple more questions what is the r1 throttle mod and any of you guys have trouble with the shifting of your bikes?mine is the worst shifting thing i have ever ridden, forgot how much the shifting sucked untill todays first ride of the year false neutral in beween 5-6 gear hit it 4 friggin times today in,fockme.:banghead:

get the shifting worked out first. That's a priority. If adjusting the shift lever doesn't help then some trans work may be in order.

i bought this last april with 245 miles on it,has shifted like garbage since the first ride.have adjusted the shifter up and down same results.if you use the clutch to shift its a crapshoot on the 1-2 and 5-6 shift, pussyfootin or giver the boot.i have found clutchless upshifts work better, never hit neutral on the 1-2 but every now and then on 5-6.the 1-2 it just hit neutral,5-6 sounds like bad stuffs happenin.i think im going to try a EVO shiftstar kit.maybe a different oil have been using motul 300v in my offroad bike it has been a noticeable differece.
