08 Busa at the track

Ok, we finally got out to the track with my bike, all stock except for exhaust. We lowered it and strapped the front and did a clutch mod. That was all we did, Stock gearing and tire. Only thing I did wrong was fill the tank up, so it was little gas top heavy(oops,lol)

did u guys dyno that bike??? i dropped a 9.6 at 144 with mine before the pipe , just bones/straped and a clutch mod from brock , 175 rwhp ,now 194 rwhp w pc/pipe?? how heavey is vic G?

Yeah we dynoed it before the pipe, and will dyno it after, next week(gonna burn the gas out if it). It dynoed 168 with fans on the ram air vents...

Vic is about 160 or so I think.. HE kept short shifting it, there alot more in it, he though he coul get a 9.4x out of it, but the track got oiled down so we were done early.

yes 9.4 all day long , im 180 suited and a 1.58 got me the 9.6 i think a 9.50 would be all i could get stock ,, we did the pipe and pc but it got cold and the locals have closed for the season , id like to get a southern track rental day

I saw both passes .... Vic is a pro and one hell of a Jocky ...Vic is about 125 pounds race ready... He will get faster with a few more passes...

Hope to see better times than this. Haven't gotten to take my Busa to the track yet, but seen an '07 ZX14 completely stock, not lowered, strapped or anything running consistent 9.8's and his last run of the night, ran a 9.7.

168 hp seem a little low 175-180 hp sounds about right. Vic with the proper set up should go 9.00s. At Rockingham with brock riding he went 9.20s and Lee went 9.10s testing with 1 tooth down on the rear sprocket. Vic should be able to match Lees time.

How do you know if a bike has had no engine work by looking at it? Or do you have x-ray vision and a manual at the track?

Oh great, here we go, one of those guys that can't believe that there is a Bike faster than a Busa. I'm just hoping I see some better 1/4 time posted for our new Bike thats all.
