08 Busa Not Starting Suddenly?

I read the post below mine about the busa not starting hoping that would help, but we have a different issue. My old battery went dead so I replaced it with a new battery today. After the batter finished charging, I hooked it up without hooking up the TRE, LEDs, and PC. Turned the bike to the on position and I hear the full pump turning on just like normal. Once I try and crank the bike, it sounds as if it's getting ready to start, but just won't turn over.

I went back and checked to make sure the battery screws were tight and the connection was solid. First thing that comes to my mind is that the starter could be bad? I hope it's nothing serious going on and something I can fix myself, but have no clue what I'm doing. I'm hoping to get some advice from you folks and begin exploring and learning more about the mechanics of the busa.

Thanks for helping a brotha out.

P.s. If anyone is in the MD/DC area and is willing to take a look at it, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Got her started. I hooked all the electronics back up this time and it worked. Not sure why it wouldn't start without them....?

When you said you didn't hook up the PC, was it fully disconnected or you just didn't have power to it? If it was the latter, then that's probably why it didn't start.
