08 Busa snatchy trottle?

I installed a two brothers twin exhaust and it seems like my throttle on in a corner is abrupt, throwing of smoothness.
I have been riding it this way for awhile, very anoying on slow tight stuff.
Before I drop over 300 bucks on their "Juice Machine" power commander thingy any other ideas on what to do?

If the exhaust is a slip on then you probably don't need a juice box or power commander. If it's a full exhaust you need something, and that's part of your problem. That abrupt throttle is probably a flat spot in your response due to the tuning being off. Most of all get a tune on a dyno. That's the only way to be sure it's running right.

Could also be something like a throttle body sync. I think mine runs quite a bit smoother after this is done.

Just my 2 cents. There are people here who know more than I do hopefully they will chime in.

1. Adjust your throttle to eliminate play.
2. Adjust and lube drive chain.
3. Replace cush drive.

In that order.

Couldn't of said it better :thumbsup: Those are the exact steps I went through to fix my throttle snatch that developed out of nowhere on my 04. It turned out that after 7000 miles of VERY aggressive throttle twisting I just plain wore the soft stock cush drive rubbers out. Folks never think about checking them but on big, torquey, high hp bikes they can go pretty quick if you're a throttle jockey :laugh:

I find it humorous that Suzuki is still using the same cush drive part that was first used in a 650cc machine decades ago :)

For this reason I wouldn't recommend using OEM parts, something like the Sensei offering looks much better: KPS CUSH DRIVE KITS

Thanks everyone, I will recheck my chain and throttle play, cush drive....hummm.....throttle body sinc too.

After some experimentation, I'd like to add another mod to the list;

4. Install one-piece clutch hub.

Then she'll be as smooth as silk.

The stock clutch hub adds a lot of lash to the drivetrain, I'm surprised this doesn't get discussed more often as (imo) it's a big issue.

I thought that was for drag racing. That eliminates the back torque limiter doesn't it? How is it for daily driving?
