To all I have an 08 Busa, I stretched it 6 inches, lowered it 1 1/2 in the front and 1 inch in the back. I also have a full Yosh TRC and power commander on it. My problem is I'm trying to launch it on the track at 5000 rpm I get a short lag almost a stumble for a spilt second killing my 60 ft time. Can anyone give me some advice on how to correct this. I have not installed the Clutch mod yet, that is on the way, as well as changing the sprockets.

GPW, Greg at hyberbike he is very good message him im sure he can help. I have an 08 and he tooned mine and it is fast. real fast

What are your 60ft times? Do you have the clutch out before the 60ft mark??

My 60 ft time right now average around 1.66, and yes the clutch is all the way out and the throttle is wide open. The problem is that slight stumble as the clutch is almost all the way out. Now after that she will pick it up and run like hell to the other end. High, high 9's and low 10's are the best I can get out of it.

I have an 08. I launch @ 7000 and am using 16/45 or 47 gearing. no lag. 60' 1.7/1.8
running low 10's in full gear i am 390 lbs.

at 330 in full gear it took me a few runs to get rid of my lag. vid here.

sounds like your clutch cam. I was having issues. I would cut anywhere from 1.65 to 1.78 60/fts. I put in the brocks clutch mod and saw very consistent 1.60 60/fts. I would like to leave a little harder my next time out. Hoping to cut a 1.55 next time out. It's very difficult to cut consistent lights and consistent 60's with that stupid clutch piece. Give it a shot, even with stock gearing you can cut those kinds of times etc. if you're at a 62" wheel base you should have absolutlely no problems cutting those kinds of times on stock gearing. Just get a damn clutch mod already lol.
