I wrapped the part sticking out in tape and used pliers to pull them outView attachment 1665915How do I go about removing the spacers so I can mount the brembo calipers?
I haven’t tried it with the bolt but I will right now. Thanks so muchlast time i serviced the brakes i removed them with the factory bolt. put it in without threading it and wigged it a little and they came out. they arent pressed it so it should take to much force. are yours seized on?
Ive tried that and I still can’t get them out lol. I’ll try again with some vice grips. That should do the jobI wrapped the part sticking out in tape and used pliers to pull them out
Time to butcher them and just get some strong vice grips and bite metal to metalOk, any other suggestions. I’ve tried pliers, a small vice grip, and the bolt No Joy.
I caught that yesterday when I took the picture. After the amount of time it took to get the spacer out I was just happen to get them mounted and fitted for the linesExcept your pads are in upside down…
Apply some heat? I would start with a heat gun rather than a torch.Ok, any other suggestions. I’ve tried pliers, a small vice grip, and the bolt No Joy.
I got them out finally. Now the process of bleeding the brakes. If anyone has a fool proof way, let me know.Apply some heat? I would start with a heat gun rather than a torch.
