I just bought my 08 Hayabusa yesterday and all I can say is ...WOW !!! I've owned a couple of bikes (sold my last one a week before bike week last year ..wtf) and my last bike being a 750 Katana. When I walked into the dealer I was looking to buy a gsxr 750 or 1000. I saw the difference in price and couldnt turn down the busa. For about $600 more I couldnt say no. I've heard some talk about getting a bigger bike because of the rate that people "grow out" of the smaller cc's. I dont see me ever growing out of this one !! I was reading the forum of the guy who wasnt sure about the busa being his first bike. I wouldnt recommend it but as long as you respect the bike and ride within your limitations everything will be cool. Also the 08 busa has the "mode" switch and if you're just starting out maybe the "c" mode will help. I'm glad to be a new owner and look forward to learning from you guys in the future..
