08 wants 8.90's or better next year.....

at 330lbs in gear, ive gotten the bike to a best of

9.79@137 with a 1.51 60'.

mods are exhaust, tune, 9" stretch, lowered/strapped.

i want to be deep in the 8's next year, and dont want to lose rideability, too much gas mileage (if i can keep it above 18mpg or so cruising i'd be happy), and it has to be STEALTH.

im planning on a 40 shot, but want a built motor and trans.

WHO has one? how much $ start to finish, and what do you have (if you dont mind)

it cant cam very hard, i want it to sound as close to stock as possible.

i want a very very sneaky fast bike that i can ride everyday, and dont really want to turbo. thats what my mustangs for

anyone that can refer me to shops/companies i would greatly appreciate. i want to know if i can actually afford this come spring, all nuts bolts and gaskets, everything to finish the project.

oh and i plan on using another engine and keeping mine wrapped up in plastic.

Yoo are going to need more than a 40 shot for 8.90's more like a 100 shot. You will have to bullet proof the motor first.

oh for sure, that i know, im aware that big cc's are going to be necessary, and i definitely dont want to have to have a low compression motor put together so i can run a huge shot. i really would like 8.90's on motor and 8.50-8.60 on spray...i do a lot of street style racing at the track...weve got 2 events every month so im out there a lot!! gotta have a little extra up my sleeve.

A 1441 with head and cams and a 40 shot...geared right and with an air shifter at 66" should run the number on motor and 8.70's on spray. Hope thats fast enough. Best guess..
