I grew up in the Venice/Santa Monica area, and I consider moving back all the time.Wish ya the best BT, I'm telling you, you just might want to consider moving out to Los Angeles

BT, feeling for you in Ks... As you know we just got through that. Wouldn't wish that on anyone. P.S. got up to five inches of snow last night.... Just two days ago it was 67 and sunshine.
Got a generator BT? If not make sure you have plenty of candles and a space heater. We had to ride out one of those a couple of weeks back....our power went out for 9 hours, but some people 15 miles away where out for 6 days because of the ice.

Well, I did consider moving to Cali once, but not LA. I was out in Costa Mesa for an airbrush/custom paint show and really dug that and surrounding area. Craziest thing I saw while I was there was a HUGE mall. It was as big as the town I'm from in Georgia. Had bricks streets on the top level. I'm thinkin' it was in Seven Palms and may have had a name along those lines. Can't quite remember.Wish ya the best BT, I'm telling you, you just might want to consider moving out to Los Angeles
Funny thing... I had forgot to pack my camera so I am out and about looking for a store like WalMart so I can buy one. I couldn't find ANY decent general merchandise stores at all. I ran across a cop and asked him where I could find a WalMart or something. He looked at me like I had asked where I could find a pole to smoke. Either he was friggin' with me or he honestly didn't know what a WalMart was. I had to say general merchandise store before he said, "Oh, ok... "

Here's a couple pics. Doesn't look anything like what I saw posted by the folks a week or two ago... I haven't been out to see how bad it is elsewhere but I think I came out light at my house.

It's always funny to watch a cat or dog tip toe through it wondering what the heck it is!our power stayed on all night but things are a little slick.The poor dog doesn't like the frozen grass so she gets stuck out in the back yard for a while.

Guess you won't be getting the 10 out? I dug through the snow to where I have the Busa in my shed and I am going to get it out today. No ice here but snow on the ground and 33 for the high. Roads are fine. Ice sux, but it won't be around too long!
The 10 doesn't even come out when the temps are conducive to ice formation on a wet spot in the road... Much less when there is visible ice anywhere around.
