never pulled a motor out of one of these but aside from not having the spanner socket on hand.. not bad to work on at all.... I sure wish asian cars were this easy...

a little luck is always good... Was happy I did not have to crack the fuel system open at all.. just hung it all from the tank with my cargo net..

The rest seemed pretty straight forward.. will have a socket made tomorrow at the shop so I can pull the last remaining bolts.. probably going to be the longest part of the job..

NECESSITY.... second gear started popping in the middle of turn 7 at Putnam crossing a seam in the pavement.. it has grown gradually worse to where it will not hold very well.. I bought a trans out of an 07 and it is getting undercut.. as soon as it hits my door and I inspect it, I will split the case and do it all in one shot.. (seals, trans, gaskets)

we might get an indian summer this year,but the year is coming to an early close.. if trans gets back early, I still might get a few days but I will probably just winterize the bike and leave it in the air till spring.. :*(

I have 32 degrees and 1/2 inch of snow, but I will get out 2 more times before close.
