i was wondering if any knows where i could find the dimensions for suspention links that would raise the bike an inch, i know i could buy them but i want to make them myself. is the a drawing somewhere or a formula, or do i just change the distance of the link an inch, you guys are the experts, any info would be awsome.

They need to be shorter, to raise the bike...I think it is 3/8" shorter link raises it 1 inch.

I would just buy some soupy links.

I would be afraid of material failure.

I got a set of +1 links (they are about 3/8" shorter) for $13 to my door off the bay..

Metric-

Looks like the guys posted all you should need. If not, shoot me a PM. I have a set of 1+ links. I can get you the specs off of them if necessary. If memory serves me right, I think BA Busa is dead on the money. The links are only a small increment shorter than the factory ones. The geometry does the rest. If you built a set 1 full in shorter than stock, I think you'd be sitting way too high in the rear. I rode mine raised when I went to the Dragon last year, then lowered it 1.5 when I returned. Easy to do and a HUGE difference in the handling of the bike.

Good luck Sir-

thanks to everyone for the info, i love this site, machining in progress. the bike is torn down for some winter mods but i will make sure to post up pics when it's "done".

I went 1" raised and the bike handled like ****e - I went down to 1/2" and had to adjust suspension, clamps e4tc to bring it back in line, the bikes geometry can be affected by such a small amount

get adjustable links...then you can raise lower and play with it all day long till your happy...(without removing any bolts ever again)
