Wondering? What’s the permanent answer for front suspension, lowering, and such for a 100 percent, dedicated drag bike?

You must have front suspention travel and the lowest part of the bike I believe is 2 inches with you on the bike. If you strap it so thier is no front suspention you run the risk of a hi speed crash. I came very close one time and learned my lesson:whistle:.

In most cases, shortened forks (along with a spring rate/revalve change) are going to be the best answer.

Terry McIntosh would be a good guy to call about it.

I'm not new to drag racing. However, I am new to drag racing motorcycles. I've got my 06 that I have plans to lower and extend in the next few days, with no power adders (probably not for a while, don't see the need at the moment). I just need something I can get some seat time on, as well as keep on the street.

More importantly, I've also been throwing around the idea of starting a complete drag bike build from scratch. I'd like to build it close to one of the heads up street classes. I'm sure it'll take some time and oooodels of questions. My pockets aren't as deep as some...I still have to finish college.
