1000 Mile Scheduled Maintenance

So what do they do besides change the oil, lube the chian, adjust the chain?

I'm at about 2650 miles now.. never brought it in but did the above mentioned standard maintenances. I had read the valves don't need to be adjusted till later on so I figured I'd skip any scheduled one till closer to the 4000 mile one (IIRC it's at 4k, but I could be mistaken).

Any common parts I should check to make sure they aren't loose?

Thanks Rocket, wish I'd thought of that.  Oh, and here's post count + 1 too... (about as much as yours was worth).

I was looking for some more specific items rather than "check every bolt on the bike" as the manual pretty much says IIRC.
