12V Accessory Plug USB in the UK

Hi

I am in the UK and I have spent a lot of time trying to find the best way to add a 12V plug to my Busa. Ideally I need a USB socket but could live with a cigarette socket. I would like to get this installed next weekend and I dont think I can get the parts shipped from the states.

Can you tell me the best place to mount the socket and pics would be great. Links to products that you have used will be brilliant. I found some sockets on fleabay UK, but the quality looks shocking!

I have been biking for 10 years now and I am afraid to say that I have not be very good in getting out and doing some non commuting mileage! Thats going to change this summer!

Welcome, I used a dual outlet and mounted it to the rear seat crossover bar just beside the locking mechanism. I now use a USB, check this out, you wont regret it and it is what I have on my bike now. 3BR Powersports | Wire & Power your Motorcycle with USB Power Outlet | PashnitMoto

Got mine here Powerlink Motorcycle USB waterrproof accessory charging socket and adapter cables..

Haven't fixed them up yet so no pics.

Thanks - this looks perfect. Where are you planning on mounting the USB? In a panel or are you going to cable tie it to a cable by the forks?

Not sure yet, I think I'm going to buy a Fuzeblock, and wire it up to that, but haven't thought where I'm going to put it yet.
