just install 1397 je piston kit with carpenter stock valve head an 386int. cam an 348lift ex.cam can not get bike to idle like if throttle bodys are bad, took tb of of my other bike an still wont idle, do i have to do a mod to the throttle bodys to get this thing to run i mean idle, runs great wide open went 8;70 @162mph all motor 8;30 @177 on nos wet small shot,

At what rpm is your idle set at?
Will it idle if you move the lever on the left bar? You may just need to raise the idle adjuster.
