A local in kc has a busa for sale and it has a 1397cc bore kit with a ported head and stock cams,I'm going to go see the bike this Saturday,he said it dyno'd at 187rwhp.My gut instinct tells me it seems a lil low.( I saw one on ebay that had a 1509cc that did 247rwhp).It has quite a few goodies on it including n20 but I'm actually interersted in the performance of how well it drives on a day to day basis,as I plan to drive it to work.MY question is does this number seem a lil low for a big bore bike?

187 Is probably more realistic then you think, there are alot of dynos out there with fudged numbers not sure how they get that way but I am not pointing fingers either, anyhow we have a guy here that builds 1397s with head, cams and his own cut on the pistons and they are usually around 193-199 with an Akro pipe, his dyno dont put out no BS numbers like alot of others do and I have seen one of his motors make 198 on his dyno and the same day it made 204 on a very reputiable engine builders dyno.

187 is about right with stock cams, you add some webbs or yoshi and you will see 8-10 hp gain and will put you around 195-200 where most are at all the time.

redhot....

pm me on the other board....but I would take it to Smithers and see what his take is on it. That'd be the best bet.
