1441 kit thinking about one, how much?

I'm thinking about a 1441 kit for my 08. Anyone know how much they are. Some guy's are saying go with stage one turbo kit. They are close in horse power, I would like to know what's more reliable and cost affective.

I'm going to start off with a carpenter head and cams, should be good for about 25 ponies, that alone is going to be $3250.00 with tune and someone else doing the work. Maybe next year the 1441 kit. Don't know total cost yet...

either approach should cause any reliability issues. Stage one turbo kit is pretty mild and doesn't need alot of bells & whistles. Same for the 1441.

i guess the question is what do you intend to do with the bike? Street it or race it? I plan on a big bore next season. Intend to track it every so often, but keep it very streetable. Hence i will be doing a 1441 kit with a mild cam. Should be good for about 220 wheel hp.

if you do the work just a set of pistons and the boring and replating will run about $1000 then you should be good for around 210hp and can run it everyday on pump gas and maybe a little nos -$450 and get like another 40hp = total of around 250hp and your over what most stage one turbos have at less than half the price

If you go 1441, get a GENI cylinder to use. The GENII cylinder are having issues splitting with thinner cylinder walls.

Depends on the depth you go with 1441, ie cams and such. If u do PC3 you may need an additional one.

I think the total Cost was around 3600. She's still running strong. How come ur not up here for hayas in the hills.
