Ok, Suzuki says that to get the 15k mile service and a much needed valve adjustment, that it will cost almost $500. Well, I would much rather put that money into a new exhaust system or something. So I am going to attempt the 15k mile service on my own with a little help from my friends. But I want to find out from you guys who do your own maintenance... What would you do at 15k? I have been taking it to Suzuki for all the other services. I took it in at 600, 4k, 8k, I did my own oil and filter change at 12k and soon I will be at 15k. So what have you guys done at the 15k mile point. It's supposed to be a big one. I'm definitely going to change the oil and attempt a valve adjustment. What else should I do? Can someone send me a little checklist of what should be done? And if anyone knows of any good web sites or maybe posts on this forum to help with valve adjustments, let me know. Thanks!
