Just got my 42 rear from skater69 on the org the other day and went for my first ride today. I already had the 16 front and I really like the 16/42 combo. I only rode about 40 miles today, but could definitely tell a difference. 2nd gear wheelies are effortless. No clutch, no on/off throttle to load the front, just nail it, and it's straight up. I love it.

damn I couldn't imagine me like that so stock is 17/40? how much labor to slap those on and price of yours? not that I'd be buying it soon since I have no jobbie

Yeah stock is 17/40. I put them on myself, really easy to do, so no labor costs. I paid about 20 for the front and got the rear from a board member for 35 shipped. One of the cheapest mods you can do for noticeable performance difference.

Don't know, never have used those. I would advise to go with steel sprockets front and rear as opposed to aluminum.
