180 or 220? need you advise

i`m planning on going with the group buy from bluegauges but haveing hard time decideing on 180 or 220 speedo. bike is a 06 whitch ways have you guys gone and do you like it? what about the speed and mileage diffrence. if i use a spedohealer then my mileage is wrong. just wandering what decisions have you made and are you happy?

If I had a turbo bike or a high stage big bore I'd do the 220 but if you plan on staying stock like most of us do then just do the 185. I just did mine in 185 and am very pleased with it. I can't remember right but I THINK to do the 220 gauges and have scott put in the yellow piece that corrects the speedo it was like another 100$. For something that I am never gonna use anyways it was a little much for me. Just my .02

I also have a stock 06 and I went with the 180 gauge.
However,I did have Scott remove the little pin so If I ever do make the 186 club,the needle will go beyond 185. not by a whole lot though!

I went with the 220 ..The speedo is off from the factory anyways and the blue guages makes it a 13% diff. so just keep that in mind when you do it . You do not have to have the yellow box and if you do put the box on it messes with you odo...all you have to do is remember when your going 50 you are actually going 56. Why spend a hundred on speedo healer when you can put that toward a GPS witch is more accurate plus it comes with rodemaps.. Besides 220s look faster..

Get the 220, add speed-o-healer, gps, or SportVue - than add the JohnnyCheese GPS mod or do the mod yourself. The Gauges look very nice in the pictures.
