19.5 hours, 1230 miles, 3 gas stops

Saturday morning I got in the Tahoe and headed North.  I drove for 16 hours and stopped for the night in Ct.  Sunday it only took another 3 1/2 hours to finish the trip.  I even made it the whole way without running out of gas.

 So starting tomorrow I hit the road again to start looking for a new job.  I not sure how long I'll be up here but hopefully I'll find some thing good soon so I can move on with my life.  I'll post updates as I get some.  
Oh and I took this picture just for Michelle while I was driveing through NC. I saw your post so I knew you would like it.

Good luck with finding a new job. The weather isn't so good around here lately (Spring in New England - always a new surprise).

I was an aircraft mechanic for Delta but just got laid off.


Thanks guys. Today was a bad day. I went out to the FedEx shop to see if they had maintenance up here only to find out they only have 5 guys. It will take about 10 years with them to be able to work for them up here. I also found out that the rest of the aircraft maintenance places here don't pay very well. I was kind of expecting this but didn't want to hear it from the first place that I stopped in. It was a big downer. I have one other place that I would like to talk to but I'm not sure how that's going to go. Oh well, at least I'm getting to spend some time with my friends up here. I'm going to hang out for a little while and look for work but I have a bad feeling it's just not going to happen. Time to figure out a new state to move to. Maybe I will head out the left coast.

I knew you would find that funny. As soon as I saw it I had to get the picture. The first pic. came out great except of the fact that there was a windshield wiper right in the middle of it so I had to retake it with the wipers off.

My first choice is Maine but if there isn't anything here then it's off to where the work/pay is. Thanks I know something will come up and life will be good once again.
