2 Bikes

I'm in the fortunate position of having 2 bikes to ride. The first is my 2012 Hayabusa. It has a Yoshimura 4 into 1 and gold Corrozzeria wheels and the ecm was done at MPS Racing in Casselberry (Florida). The other bike is a 2006 Honda ST1300, it's my everyday ride. I bought it used and it cost less than half of the Hayabusa.
The point of this is that I ride the Honda about 3 to 1 over the Hayabusa. It's been out of commission for a few days, it needed a fuel pump, so I've been on my Hayabusa a lot more. When I got off the Honda I felt like the Hayabusa was blindingly fast. Today I noticed that the Hayabusa felt less 'special' I went out to the place I usually go when I want to get up a bit of speed and although the speedometer said I was going pretty fast, it didn't seem like so much. I'll be glad when I get the Honda running again so my Hayabusa will be special again!

I have two very different bikes and I love them both for that reason! After a while, switching to the Busa makes it feel like the hand of God is pushing me down the road. When I become accustomed to it, I take my DR650 and ride it like the bush pig it was meant to be, and it's just a whole new experience. If I had just one or the other, neither would make me as happy as they do with their current stable mate.

That video made me snort pop out my nose the first time I watched it, the little subtitles are hilarious!

I hear ya there. My M109R is no slouch by any stretch of the imagination! 110/108 rwhp/tq! But....... When I then get on my Busa, holy schnikies! Get back on my 9, and I feel like something is wrong with her!
Such a terrible problem to have!

Cool. Good Idea.....

If I ride my L3 1K exclusively for a week or two and then jump on any of the other three I feel overwhelmed with the rush of acceleration the other bikes have compared to the mild 1000.
And if I ride either turbo bike exclusively for a few days or a week, jumping on the L3 or even the Gen2 feels as if Im on a 600 lol they feel so slow and disappointing in comparison.

Its fun to switch up bikes on a regular basis,it keeps the excitement going.:beerchug:
