2 Step good or bad?

Building a turbo bike and wondering is a 2 step launch master good or bad? Is it a safe thing in a drag race application? Im not sure if I want to put that on or not and looking for answers if anyone has done it and wondering what kind of luck they have had.

no exp. w/the 2-step yet but I wud say make sure your boost isnt too hi/low for your launch revs w/a good controller. AMS is da BOMB, IMO

I'm not running a turbo, but I have a launch master on mine... it takes some finesse (so you not launching off the line at a gazillion RPMs) but it allows you to concentrate on your launch rather than trying to keep your launch RPMs right.

There are a few race classes that do not allow them.....

I have seen a guy 12 o'clock it with one though.... (lack of finesse)

But don't take my word for it.. I'm still a newbie at it...

I have one and it works great! I also use a ams1000 and a multi stage lock-up.have a weak spring in the wastegate, builds about 2psi boost when on the 2 step.Makes for consistent launches and 60' times.Wouldnt recommend one with a turbo unless you have a multistage clutch.bigtime wheelies.
