200 tire on STOCK bike??

Hi just got my first busa 00 model,

comes with a 190 rear tire, what is the max size i can fit on it, without modding?? 200+?

But if it did, you're straight line statement would be right....

YES 200 IS THE MAX the next is 240 4,800 but you get tires rims swingarm sprockets ect.....

You can get a 210 Metzler on a stock Busa swingarm thats the only company I know makes them.

well when you start going up in size drastically like that, keep in mind that you're going to completely change the handling of the bike. With a 240 out back, you're going to lose a fair amount of cornering ability. How much? well it depends on the rider, really, but regardless, you will notice the difference.

As for installing a 200 rear tire, it will fit just fine, but you have to realize here that it's still going to be on the stock wheel, so it isnt going to be a huge difference. a 200 rear tire on the stock wheel is probably going to look about the same as a 190 on a rear wheel thats 1/4" wider.

Yea, i have decided to stick with the 190... i wouldnt want to alter the handling of the busa at all!! its a fine machine.. clocked quite a few miles on it in the last few days! i have rode a lot of different bikes... nothing compares.. absolutely fantastic is 1 way to describe it =]
